For our location in Münster, we are looking for immediate full-time and permanent positions:

2 Lab Animal Caregivers (m/w/d) Research and Clinic Direction

Your responsibilities will include:

• Humane care and monitoring of laboratory animals: Ensuring the well-being of animals through daily care and monitoring.
• Health status monitoring: Conducting health checks and documenting observations according to the highest animal welfare standards.
• Hygiene and environmental control: Cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas and checking environmental conditions.
• Documentation and reporting: Accurately recording data and reports to ensure transparent research work under GLP requirements.
• Contribution to research projects: Assisting scientists with experimental preparations and study conduct in a modern laboratory setting.
• Development and training: Participating in training sessions on new procedures and techniques to continuously optimize care and research.

Your qualifications:

• Completed training as a Lab Animal Caregiver in research and clinic direction or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in laboratory animal care and knowledge in animal welfare (e.g., participation in animal welfare courses is advantageous).
• High sense of responsibility and diligence in handling animals and documentation.
• IT skills and English proficiency.
• Teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
• Flexibility and reliability, even with changing tasks and work hours.
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays, as well as to perform additional work when needed.
• Willingness to continue education and openness to new challenges in a scientific environment.
• Ideally, prior work experience in a research or clinical setting, though not required—motivated individuals from other fields are welcome!
