Senior Program Manager, Fleet Repair Strategy

Amazon Worldwide Operations is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Fleet Repair Strategy to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs within Amazon Logistics. In this role, the individual will need to be able to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders in order to improve vehicle uptime and optimization while eliminating barriers for our internal customers. You will be the program manager leading various initiatives building out products from scratch. Key job responsibilities include:

  • Build a program from theoretical to an efficient and sustainable process
  • Scope, create, and drive project plans and budgets
  • Communicate to Senior Management on status, risks and process/product changes
  • Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations
  • Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver
  • Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, and automation limitations
  • Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
  • Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes
  • Work with vendors, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs the milestones
  • Manage vendors and built sustainable mechanisms to drive program efficiencies

About the team Global Fleet Products (GFP) is responsible for all last mile fleet operations for Amazon Logistics. We are part of the NA Last Mile Fleet Operations in the In Life Services (ILS) team. Our team is responsible for Strategic Products & Programs, including new programs, product integration, DSP accountability, and planning. Team Vision: To design and deliver the Best in the world 'Fleet Experience' for our customers. Team Mission: We will simplify lives of our partners and drivers. Our Fleet Product and Service offerings will be best in the world in terms of Safety, Sustainability, Innovations, Utilization and Cost of Ownership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing spend amount of at least $90 million
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $245,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
