Minimum Requirements: High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license and previous supervisory experience.
Position Description: The Parking Services Officer II position has responsibility of enforcing parking rules and regulations in an assigned area of the campus to observe vehicles for parking violations. The use of observational skills to maintain parking lot upkeep and to perform minor maintenance of parking equipment. Professionally handles incoming requests from customers, answer calls from equipment intercoms, communicates via 2-way radio with offices and provides directions to visitors. The position ensures customer issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly, creates a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making and identifies opportunities for process improvements to positively impact the customer experience and to represent the department and university in a positive manner. Perform special projects on campus including sign installation, replacement and inventory; parking lot painting. Oversee department vehicle fleet including maintenance schedules and reporting. Responsible for regular maintenance on pay machines and parking equipment and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs. Serve as replacement parking attendant when needed to fill in during illness or vacation. Ability to write and communicate in a clear and concise business-like manner. Provides lead for revenue collection.
