The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor will oversee and enhance our manufacturing operations, focusing on optimizing processes, project management, improving product quality, and implementing best practices. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with cross functional teams, and ensuring that manufacturing processes align with company goals and industry standards.
Essential Functions: Leader that is comfortable working on the floor with production supervisors, ME's, maintenance and operators to keep production flowing and employees safe. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles to drive ongoing enhancements in manufacturing operations. Strong project management experience utilizing Microsoft project as a tool to meet timelines and manage resources. Develop tooling for manufacturing: custom machine fixtures, assembly jigs, and standard tooling requirements. Responsible for development and budget execution of capital projects related to processes and equipment upgrades. Leads development of process planning and NC programming for all new and current programs. Managing and optimizing processes concerning the tool room Develops standards for production. Develops manufacturing plans for new equipment.
