Infrastructure Services Engineer Executive Advisor

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Duties:

• Review detailed business and technical requirements to recommend technical solutions.
• Work with procurement, legal, and standards governance to receive approval and funding.
• Research, design, test, and evaluate new cloud technologies, platforms, and strategic partner products and services.
• Develop complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications; provide input to set or amend architectural specifications.
• Create presentations and seek IT management’s approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving the enterprise.
• Participate in the design of the enterprise architecture.
• Provide advanced level engineering design functions.
• Code and maintain complex components of information systems.
• Direct the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture).
• Propose opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment.
• Leverage cloud native and third-party tools to troubleshoot complex application issues.
• Review test cases and test results and apply code changes to resolve issues.
• Participate in enterprise planning activity, including vendor assessment, technology platform selection and retirement, prioritization and integration; routinely act as a subject matter expert for executive management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field of study.
• Ten (10) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
• Ten (10) years of required Information Technology (IT) experience, or related must include: Infrastructure as code development; Terraform module development; Terraform Enterprise or Terraform Cloud; Git; CI/CD Pipeline creation; Kubernetes; Azure; AWS; Bash, or Powershell, or Python.

Required Certifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certificate.
