This position serves as the Housekeeping Aid Leader for the Environmental Management Service (EMS) at Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include advocating for a Whole Health System of care in each of the Medical Centers. This is an approach to healthcare that empowers and equips people to take charge of their health and well-being and live their lives to the fullest. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able physically to perform full range of housekeeping duties and activities, including the use of all power equipment. Work requires continuous standing, walking, stooping, reaching, bending, lifting, etc., and working with a variety of cleaning and disinfecting compounds. May also be required to use ladders to complete certain tasks or jobs.
