Dynatrace Observability Engineer - Remote Eligible

Dynatrace Observability Engineer

A large financial organization is seeking a Dynatrace Observability Engineer for a contract opportunity through the end of the year (with likelihood for extensions into next year). This position can sit remotely but must be able to work EST hours. This individual will be the subject matter expert of Dynatrace at the application-level and own observability best practices across the Teams 25+ applications. Additionally, they will be responsible for:

• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
• Be the driver behind building and optimizing their end-to-end monitoring and alerting systems across a complex landscape
• Design dashboards, implement real-time monitoring solutions, and ensure systems stay healthy, reliable, and secure
• Detect issues before they impact the business and lead investigations into performance disruptions through root cause analysis and automation

• 5+ years of Dynatrace experience from the application-level
• DB2 Mainframe
• AIX Unix & IHS Linux
• WebSphere Banking industry experience
• JBoss
• Tomcat
• Python & JShell
• Oracle null
