Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our Field Services team in the Louisville area. This role involves providing both on-site and remote technical support to end users across various departments and agencies. You'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering reliable IT support in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview:

• Provide deskside and remote support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a Windows-based environment.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer equipment.
• Interface directly with users, offering clear communication and excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and escalate issues when necessary.

Key Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and under pressure.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift and carry equipment as needed.

Pay and Benefits:

• The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
