System Administrator

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client system data, ensuring daily solutions and security compliance.
• Prioritize and manage ticket queues, working directly with technicians to deliver effective solutions.
• Recommend modernization options and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive integration and continuous improvement.
• Work on varied projects, adapting to different industries (banking, retail, etc.).
• Ensure clear and effective communication with clients and partners, including in English.
• Develop management and organizational skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Experience supporting and maintaining the Mainframe Storage Subsystem estate within a multi-LPAR, multi-site Sysplex environment
• Experience in tape migration projects
• Experience upgrading the MX Mainframe
• Experience upgrading the Microcode levels on the Mainframe Storage Subsystem & Tape Library, HMCs SKLM
• Update PR/SM definitions via HMC
• Extensive knowledge of IBM DISK DS8k, Virtual Tape Library( TS4400, TS7770), DFSMS, IODEF configuration for zOS, Parallel Sysplex
• Experience with IBM z/OS Products: TSO/Utilities (3.4 etc); JCL; SDSF; IDCAMS; GDPS; CA Products;
• Advanced English Level, able to keep English conversation
• Bachelor's degree
