The Role

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Skills and Experience:

  • More than 3 years of experience implementing cloud-based data solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Proven experience designing and developing data ingestion and transformation flows in Lake House architecture using cloud services.
  • Strong proficiency in distributed data processing with Spark, especially using PySpark (batch processing required; real-time processing is a plus).
  • Experience optimizing data processes with a focus on cost efficiency (processing time, cluster usage, and cloud service consumption). Familiarity with automation and reusable components to standardize development practices.
  • Hands-on experience deploying solutions to production environments using CI/CD tools (DevSecOps).
  • Participation in cloud-based projects involving: Large-scale data processing. Building data pipelines (ETL/ELT). Migrating processes to cloud platforms. Process optimization using distributed computing.
  • Experience working in Agile, project-based environments, and developing cross-functional solutions for continuous improvement of development frameworks.
  • Active contribution to technical communities (e.g., Data COE).
  • Ability to present project progress to leadership and management teams, previous experience in banking or financial institutions (highly desirable).

Preferred Skills and Experience

Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as industrial engineering, finance, or economics

Certifications in Azure and/or Databricks : Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark. Azure Data Engineer Associate / Professional.
