Provides IT infrastructure services, including cloud, mainframe, and network management, to modernize and manage large enterprises’ critical systems.

DevOps Technical Leader

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage, and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. We're always moving forward—pushing boundaries, innovating at scale, and creating an inclusive, purpose-driven environment where Kyndryls can grow their careers while delivering meaningful impact for our customers.

We are seeking a DevOps Technical Leader to architect, guide, and scale intelligent automation solutions across enterprise cloud and infrastructure environments. In this role, you will lead the integration of AI-enabled automation into DevOps practices—spanning CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure provisioning—to drive operational excellence and resilience at scale.

You will partner with cross-functional engineering, platform, and architecture teams to design secure, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned with Kyndryl enterprise architecture standards. As a technical leader, you will mentor DevOps engineers, establish best practices, and champion innovation through AI-enhanced workflows that improve reliability, speed, and operational insight for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and governance of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, embedding AI-driven capabilities to optimize software delivery, deployment quality, and operational workflows.
  • Architect and oversee intelligent monitoring and observability solutions leveraging Dynatrace, Azure native tools, and AI/ML models to enable predictive insights, anomaly detection, and proactive incident response.
  • Define and drive infrastructure automation strategies using Terraform, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant Azure environments aligned with Kyndryl standards.
  • Serve as a technical mentor and thought leader, guiding DevOps engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and AI adoption across development and operations teams.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging Azure and AI technologies, including Azure AI services and Fabric capabilities, aligning automation initiatives with business outcomes and enterprise architecture.
  • Set the strategic direction for intelligent automation, ensuring solutions are resilient, cost-effective, and scalable across complex, client-critical environments.

Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID-19 vaccination policies. Those who believe they are eligible may apply for a medical or religious accommodation prior to the start of employment.

At Kyndryl, you'll work with global clients, cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies, and highly skilled engineers to solve complex operational challenges at scale. This role offers a clear path toward senior technical leadership, architecture, or platform strategy roles within our modernization and cloud practices.
