Full Time Mail Service Coordinator 1 - La Crosse, WI
Kwik Trip Inc's Mail Center is based on our campus in La Crosse, WI. Provides mail support to our 800+ retail stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota Illinois, Michigan, South Dakota and Iowa, and to over 38,000+ coworkers company wide. This position is responsible for ensuring all internal and external mail routing needs are met accurately and efficiently throughout the company. This is a fast-paced environment and does require an individual with excellent customer skills, strong attention to detail and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Open, sort, and deliver all internal and external mail and special (Classified, Next day, FedEx, Registered, Certified, etc.) incoming mail, including correspondence, documents, facsimiles, and miscellaneous mail to departments located on the Kwik Trip Campus and at our Onalaska Support Center
- Pick up and sort outgoing mail from various departments throughout Kwik Trip's Campus and at our Onalaska Support Center
- Communicate and support the mailing needs and demands of Kwik Trip's Print Shop, Marketing and Talent Operations Department's during mass mailings
- Send and slot both internal and U.S. mail
- Prepare outgoing mail by metering
- Operate an automated postage machine and letter opener
- Process large mail outs and bulk mail deliveries
- Utilize UPS website
- Support the everyday deliver program both in the early morning and/or afternoon shift.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Support seasonal tasks when needed
- Support other duties as assigned by leader
- Flexibility to cross-train in other functions or departments
- General housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one-year experience in a related field
- Read, understand, and interpret numbers
- Accurate and detail orientated and meeting of department deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
- Possess strong organizational skills while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to self-motivate and carry out daily tasks with minimal supervision or as a team
- Must have a valid driver's license, as this position will be traveling to various buildings throughout our campus facilities and to our Onalaska Support Center
- Operate a company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
Physical requirements:
- Able to twist, bend, reach regularly
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk and /or sit to perform essential job functions for the duration of the shift
- Ability to retain and carry out multiple work assignments
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours. However, it does include early morning hours (i.e. 3:30am start time), some holidays, and flexibility to work longer hours when needed.
