Inside Sales Manager

We at KUGU develop smart software solutions for the energy optimization of buildings. Our IoT platform helps the housing industry reduce CO₂ emissions and sustainably lower operating costs – through digital control, consumption data collection, remote maintenance, and intelligent analysis!

As an Inside Sales Manager, you are a central part of our sales team and ensure that our sales processes run smoothly. You support the creation of offers and contracts, keep our CRM data up to date, and make sure that the sales team is always well-prepared. Sounds exciting?

Your Task

  • Support our sales team in the creation and management of sales documents – from offer creation to price calculations and contract preparation
  • Be responsible for sales documentation – maintain customer contacts, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system, ensure data quality, and prepare reports
  • Coordinate internal alignments between sales, product, legal, and finance for smooth contract processes and efficient customer service
  • Support the preparation of customer meetings with pitch materials and individual presentations for optimal conversation preparation
  • Ensure that our CRM system is optimally used, processes run efficiently, and both team and customer benefit from structured procedures
  • Identify growth opportunities in existing customer relationships, drive up- and cross-sell activities, and contribute to sustainable expansion

Your Profile

  • You ideally have 2–4 years of experience in sales inside service, sales support, or inside sales – preferably in a B2B environment with explanatory products or digital solutions
  • You enjoy accompanying sales processes operationally, creating documents and offers, and ensuring smooth operations through structured organization
  • You are proficient in using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools) and work routinely with common office programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • You work carefully, reliably, and keep an overview even in an agile environment with several parallel tasks
  • You are service-oriented, think proactively, and bring a hands-on mentality to best support and relieve the sales team and drive sales success
  • You have a basic understanding of contract and offer processes and a good numerical understanding complete your profile
  • You communicate clearly and professionally – both with internal teams and external contacts – and have very good German and English skills (C1)
