Kueski is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the financial data infrastructure that powers Finance, Accounting, and FP&A.This role is ideal for someone who transforms complex financial logic into scalable dbt models, Databricks pipelines, and automated dashboards. You will lead the design, quality, and operational discipline of Kueski’s financial data products end to end.
You will drive the creation of datasets, KPIs, and reporting assets that support revenue, costs, margins, and portfolio insights, ensure governance, documentation, testing, and reliability across all financial data workflows, elevate analytics engineering best practices while shaping how financial data is built and maintained across the organization.
Translate P&L and financial statement logic into scalable datasets and KPIs.
Build and maintain reliable dbt data models that fuel Kueski’s financial reporting.
Develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks.
Create automated Tableau dashboards that drive insight into revenue, costs, margins, and portfolio performance.
Identify and propose improvements to enhance data accessibility and financial analytics.
Lead financial projects from concept to delivery, driving measurable business impact.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions with real impact.
Solid understanding of financial statements, P&L structure, cost drivers, and KPIs.
Establish and maintain robust data governance, including documentation standards, data lineage, and quality controls.
Oversee thorough testing and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting assets using Tableau.
Design scalable data models and contribute to the architecture of analytical datasets (fact/dimension structures).
Coordinate and manage data workflows using orchestration platforms such as Airflow or Astronomer.
Mentor teammates and elevate analytics engineering best practices.
5+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar roles (ideally supporting Finance/FP&A).
Strong SQL and data modeling skills (star/snowflake, fact/dim).
Proven experience with dbt, Databricks and modern data stacks (AWS, Delta Lake).
Proficiency in Tableau for financial dashboards.
Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Astronomer).
Solid understanding of financial statements, P&L structure, cost drivers, and KPIs.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions with real impact.
