We are looking for a research engineer to participate in one of our research projects, HITS 3, which focuses on sustainable urban freight transport. Focus for the position is system dynamics modeling.
The role includes developing, testing, and using a system dynamics model of the transition to sustainable urban freight transport concepts. Examples of concepts include shared loading hubs, off-peak deliveries, cargo bikes. The model will also include factors that describe the structure of the city and the area. The tasks include planning and implementing co-creation workshops with "Group Model Building", creating a simulable system dynamics model, and using the model together with decision-makers to evaluate political decisions and interventions.
There is also the opportunity to participate in the development of future research projects, and in collaboration and networking with researchers at KTH to build the research direction.
