The infrastructure platform Spatial Biology at SciLifeLab is currently in a strong phase of expansion and is investing in the development of advanced methods for the integrated analysis of biological systems. The platform is now recruiting three bioinformaticians, where one position is at KTH within the Spatial Proteomics unit. Together, you will form a data analysis team working to develop tools and methods for integrated multi-omics studies.
As a member of this team, you will play a key role in developing computational methods, analyzing complex datasets, and contributing to integrative omics efforts in close collaboration with researchers from various disciplines. The Spatial Proteomics Unit is seeking a motivated and experienced bioinformatician. The unit works with the latest methods in spatial proteomics focusing on multiplexed fluorescence microscopy (8-40 markers). As part of the Spatial Proteomics unit you will be responsible for data management and infrastructure, implementation and development of analysis pipelines. You will work on different datasets and help our users with image and downstream analysis.
You will also join the new Spatial Biology Computational Team (SBCT) at SciLifeLab. As a member of the SBCT team, you will play a key role in developing computational methods, analyzing complex datasets, and contributing to integrative omics efforts in close collaboration with researchers from various disciplines. The role offers significant opportunities to influence both technological development and scientific direction in a rapidly growing research field.
