Doctoral Student In Chemical Reaction Engineering Of CO2 Utilisation

The School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health at KTH is offering a position focused on the engineering, analysis, and optimization of catalytic reactors employing heterogeneous catalysts for COâ‚‚ conversion. The project aims to accelerate the transformation of the chemical industry through Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU). Emphasis will be placed on understanding the underlying chemical transformations and improving reactor performance through both experimental studies and mathematical analysis/modeling.

Supervision will be provided by Efthymios Kantarelis, who will guide the doctoral student through the research process. The candidate should have a background in Chemical Engineering, with experience in catalytic reaction engineering, catalyst characterization, and mathematical modeling skills.
