To accelerate our customer-centric growth, we are looking for an Experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to strengthen our international Performance Marketing team.

In this role you operate on group level, helping shape how marketing automation supports customer growth across multiple European markets.

You play a key role in developing and scaling marketing automation initiatives that drive measurable business impact. Today, much of our automation focuses on the email channel, but our ambition is to expand towards a broader omnichannel automation strategy.

You will lead automation initiatives, translate commercial goals into scalable automation programs and continuously optimise performance using data and experimentation.

Dedicated teams support areas such as design, content creation and data reporting, allowing you to focus on automation strategy, optimisation and project leadership. You will also collaborate with a specialised email marketing agency that acts as a sparring partner and supports execution when needed.

What Is Your Role?

As Experienced Marketing Automation Specialist, you play a key role in developing and scaling marketing automation across the organisation. You work closely with group-level stakeholders and collaborate with local marketing teams across Europe to improve how automation supports our commercial objectives.

You will:

  • Lead marketing automation projects from idea to implementation.
  • Translate commercial objectives into scalable, data-driven automation programs.
  • Improve internal processes and explore smart ways to use automation and AI to scale marketing activities.
  • Analyse campaign performance and drive continuous optimisation through testing and insights.
  • Advise and support local marketing teams in improving their marketing automation initiatives.
  • Ensure best practices, consistency and quality across marketing automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with data, performance marketing and customer journey specialists to improve targeting, automation logic and performance.
  • Stay hands-on when needed by building or optimising automation flows and campaigns, ensuring ideas can quickly be tested and implemented.

You will be part of the Group Performance Marketing Team, working in a hybrid setup from Varsseveld and Utrecht.

Who Are You?

You are an experienced marketing automation specialist who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, technology and performance. You know how to translate commercial goals into scalable automation programs and can effectively collaborate with stakeholders across teams and markets.

You bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing automation or CRM marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Deployteq experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong experience in setting up automated lifecycle flows.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and advising marketing teams.
  • The ability to independently lead projects and drive improvements.
  • Experience working in an international or multi-market environment is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
