Assistant Manager – Data Engineer, Tax Technology
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Responsible for client interaction to gather the business challenges and documentation
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data.
- Responsible for presenting the solution and insight to the clients.
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
- Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
Requirement:
- Design, build, and maintain Azure data services for internal and client platforms, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, and MS Fabric.
- Develop and implement ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions in PySpark clusters.
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate with the team to design optimized data models for traditional warehouses as well as the latest delta lakes.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices are always maintained.
- Optimize system performance, ensuring the fastest possible data retrieval and efficient data updates.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends.
Experience & Background:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate qualification B.Tech./BCA/MBA/M-Tech/MCA
- Relevant experience of 2-10 years
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Any exposure to tax technologies is a definite positive.
- Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
