Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-3:00PM EST or Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00PM-12:00PM EST (Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time Hours)

What the Field Service Advisor role looks like:
- Serve as the primary liaison between mobile technicians, fleet management, and internal leadership.
- Translate DSP, or operator reported vehicle issues into clear, actionable work orders for technicians.
- Manage service scheduling, repair order tracking, communications, and work order documentation to minimize downtime for Last Mile vehicles.
- Provide regular status updates to external and internal stakeholders and communicate estimated completion timelines clearly.
- Verify parts availability with the technicians and support field technicians with transcribing accurate job information to work orders.
- Ensure compliance with Kooner FMS policies, SOPs, and Company Equipment Acknowledgement procedures.
- Capture and maintain accurate service records, customer approvals, and warranty documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, recommending SOP refinements, and reporting recurring service trends.
- Uphold Kooner FMS' standards of white-glove professionalism, safety, and accountability in all interactions.
- Work with dispatchers to schedule work orders based on priority level and according to shop load values
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar role in fleet, automotive, or heavy-duty truck service.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple repair orders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to outstanding service for both internal teams and external clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Proficiency with service management platforms, documentation tools, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or business training a plus.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends or evenings, to support operational demand.
- Experience with commercial fleets, delivery vehicles, or mobile repair operations strongly preferred.
Work Environment:
- Standard office setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time.
