Kindergarten Photographer

We are a young company specializing in vibrant kindergarten photos. We want to get rid of the outdated image of blue cloud backgrounds and stiff faces and give parents natural, casual photos of their children as a memory of the special kindergarten time.

For this, we are looking for photographers in Saarbrücken, Trier, but also Lübeck, Kiel and anywhere in Germany who are willing to embark on the adventure of kindergarten photography and enjoy both the photography itself and a confident handling of the camera as well as having fun working with children. You can apply from anywhere and we will see if your area is still "free". :-)

Tasks

We suggest projects to you, you can accept, decline or acquire your own institutions on request. After accepting the order, you will photograph the registered children there. The photo dates and times will be agreed upon with the institution and you.

Depending on the size of the kindergarten, an average of 1-3 days will be set for this. Afterwards, you sort all the good photos into folders for the respective groups.

The big advantage: These jobs are almost out of competition with all other jobs that can be carried out as a photographer. In addition, we support you with the organization before and after the photo day. This offers you a flexible, project-based additional income without having to give up your favorite areas in photography. The working hours are also extremely family-friendly - better than 9 to 5!

Qualification

You have your own camera (preferably full-frame), which you can also operate safely and confidently under time pressure and in changing light conditions. However, you do not need professional experience or special training. It is only important that you are good at what you do :-)

The purchase and maintenance of camera and lighting equipment is at your own expense.

You enjoy working with children, can empathize with different needs and are equally motivated with every child, even if you are already the 30th child to accompany you across the outdoor area and you always find the swing wonderful :-)

You want to grow with us together. The exact scope and your possible capacities are always adaptable.

You can independently sort out the good photos and forward them to us.

You wish for an additional income to supplement other assignments that you can generate through this job.

You can imagine a long-term cooperation.

You are stress-resistant and remain calm and composed even when it is sometimes a bit tight.

You are punctual and can guarantee your arrival at the kindergartens.

It is a freelance, taxable activity; you settle on your own account and deduct social contributions yourself.

As a self-employed person, you are responsible for your own liability insurance. Proof of your own professional liability insurance is a prerequisite.

You independently take care of the procurement of shooting materials and the organization, if you have to reschedule a shooting at short notice.

Re-shoots for major technical errors are carried out at your own expense, if the error is clearly attributable to you.

Great kids who sweeten your working day

You are, of course, allowed and encouraged to continue to serve your own customers (provided they are not competitors in the same field). Kindergarten photography is merely an addition to your self-employed activity in photography.

You as a photographer and person are always in the foreground. We support you, but you yourself are in the focus.

The picture style, set-up and course are designed by you independently, we only provide a style guide as inspiration.

The salary information in the job advertisement is a rough estimate for the idea and varies according to different conditions as a flat rate, since other information is unfortunately not possible here. Exact information on the billing model can be provided on request.

As a self-employed person, you have the right to employ qualified assistants or subcontractors. You set and calculate their remuneration yourself.
