As a Technical Field Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in strengthening the technical capabilities of our Front Line and Supply Operations teams across KONE. You will provide both remote and on-site technical support, addressing installation challenges as well as digital, APF, software, and BIM-related issues. Ensuring ride comfort is also part of your role, where you will work closely with stakeholders to meet customer specifications and technical requirements.

In addition, you will contribute to product development and innovation, particularly in global field support roles. You will also support the development of new installation methods and troubleshooting tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the field. You will also participate in closing reviews to capture lessons learned, whether product-related or related to skill development needs. In terms of safety, you will act as a role model by ensuring compliance with KONE's global safety requirements, customer and partner protocols, and by reporting or addressing any hazards observed on-site.

On a daily basis, you will contribute to workload allocation, monitor KPI and SLA adherence, and review priorities to ensure business objectives are consistently met.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, IT, Telecommunications
  • 5+ years of relevant technical expertise as a Maintenance Troubleshooter, Field Support Engineer or related.
  • Advanced knowledge of wired and wireless networks
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Intermediate English
  • Availability to travel and drive standard car
