We are looking for you as a Service Technician for Escalators – German-speaking Switzerland.

Your Mission

After a thorough training, you will take over your own service route and be responsible for the independent and high-quality maintenance of our elevator systems.

Your Specific Contributions

• Performing maintenance work, service missions, and repairs according to predefined quality and safety standards
• Ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with all regulations and guidelines
• Maintaining a professional exchange with customers, contacts, and end-users
• Responsibility for the safety and proper functioning of the assigned systems
• Orderly management of the site environment during work
• Recognizing and reporting additional repair needs including coordination with customers on-site
• Creating precise, timely service reports
• Participating in periodic on-call duty/emergency service

Your Added Value

• Completed training in the electrical or mechanical field. Training in rail vehicle construction or in similar industrial sectors would be advantageous.
• Desired experience in escalator maintenance
• Excellent technical skills and independent working style
• Very good (Swiss) German language skills (at least level C1)
• Enjoyment of customer contact and willingness to represent KONE professionally
• Enjoyment of national travel and representing our company
• High flexibility and self-responsibility
• Valid driver’s license category B
• Impeccable criminal record
• Residence in Switzerland (Swiss or foreign nationality with valid residence permit)
• Your place of residence is at most 30 minutes from the city center of Zurich. This allows for a balanced work-life balance and facilitates teamwork.
