R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It's the development engine for our Digital Services such as Office Flow, KONE 24/7 Connected Services and Partnership Ecosystem.
KONE services maintains millions of elevators, escalators, building doors and turnstiles equipment in over 60 countries. Maintenance operations has tens of thousands visits per day facing customers and ensuring fluent products' operations.
We are now looking for an R&D Engineer/Specialist in Maintenance.
Join Maintenance Development in the KONE Technology and Innovation R&D Field Engineering team in Hyvinkää, Finland, or work from our Espoo office with regular trips to Hyvinkää. We offer flexible hours, hybrid work options with few office days per week, and commuting support.
You will join the Onsite and Field Maintenance team, contributing to significant advancements in how KONE maintains and services equipment by leveraging the latest innovations in Predictive and Remote Maintenance. In this position, your work will directly influence KONE's global service operations. KONE delivers maintenance services for both its own manufactured equipment and equipment produced by other companies.
Work will require knowledge for digitalization, remote monitoring & diagnostics, different types of sensors, maintenance strategy development and reliability analyses. You will work together with several KTI teams, Global Business Unit, Area and Country organizations.
