Design, evaluate, and innovate mechanical systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design tools to improve safety and enhance product technology.
Perform mechanical design, validation, and troubleshooting of fixed and rotating equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and process piping, ensuring efficient operation and reliability.
Develop and implement reliability-based maintenance programs, leveraging precision tools such as vibration analysis and ultrasound diagnostics to improve equipment reliability.
Lead and support initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, yield, quality, and cost efficiency while identifying and implementing process and system improvements.
Focus on machine functional safety by applying safety risk reduction standards to designs, validating safety systems in operation, and overseeing compliance inspections of equipment, infrastructure, and utilities.
Build relationships across teams to share expertise, implement standardized solutions, and support training efforts for operations and maintenance teams.
Maintain critical equipment documentation in SAP CMMS, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for reliability-based programs and maintenance tracking.
Experience with fixed and rotating equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and process piping.
Knowledge of reliability-based maintenance practices and precision maintenance techniques.
Pulp & Paper industry experience.
Project Engineering Experience
