Manufacturing Engineer

Responsible for technical support for production lines, developing and updating production procedures, and improving productive processes for current products, while participating in projects and implementing new products. To ensure optimal compliance with metrics.

Has direct impact on Production; in coordination with departments such as Quality, Engineering, Production, Planning, and Suppliers; has the authority to make decisions, stop a process or machine if any situation that could affect product quality or compromise operator safety is detected. Authority to request resources for production needs, make purchases, and contact suppliers; authority to make improvements in lines and make layout changes if necessary.

What you will do:

• Support in reducing customer complaints (QN'S), identifying the main contributors that negatively impact quality or using analysis tools. From the analysis, propose solutions to have a positive contribution to these measurables.
• Support in the fulfillment of CRD (on-time deliveries), verifying that the equipment operates as indicated by the processes, to ensure optimal compliance with metrics.
• Evaluate possible projects to increase the profit margin of the product (if the process is manual, see the possibility of making it automatic; reduction of scrap; downtime; all with the aim of reducing production costs and increasing profits).

Who you are:

• Industrial Engineering or similar; or extensive verifiable experience in a similar position and industry

• Experience in managing, maintaining, and improving production metrics.
• Advanced conversational English.
• Interpersonal skills, teamwork, analysis, decision-making.
