Collaborate with the Supervisor to assist department managers in overseeing incoming and in-house component quality. Ensure operations achieve quality, productivity, and output goals while enhancing supplier quality.
Manage specifications and standards for components and materials. Participate in creating inspection standards and instructions.
Develop and implement inspection plans for components and materials. Ensure incoming components meet quality standards and support manufacturing lines to achieve production goals.
Monitor components and material quality performance. Control and improve scrap levels, material consumption, and inspection costs. Engage with suppliers and vendors to address quality issues and improvements. Participate in supplier quality assessments and reviews. Input data into the SAP system.
Attend quality meetings at the plant and with suppliers/vendors. Conduct defect analysis, abnormality reporting, follow-up actions, customer complaints, sorting, and PFMEA.
Understand and contribute to achieving quality and delivery goals for both personal and sectional objectives.
Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, and requirements regarding: 7S & Kaizen, Environmental Health Safety, RBA & Social Responsibility, Protection of company assets.
Support and contribute to Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, ISO, and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by adhering to stated policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Education Requirements:
Required: College/University degree
Preferred: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Work Experience Requirements:
Required: Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing companies
Skills & Abilities:
Required: Strong knowledge in engineering and quality management, Understanding of manufacturing processes, Performance assessment skills, Skills in creating standards and instructions, Strong interpersonal skills, Proficiency in on-the-job training, coaching, basic management, and Kaizen, Experience operating quality inspection machines and instruments, Familiarity with ISOs, RoHS, SAP systems
