Controls Engineering Technician
As a Controls Engineering Technician at AirBorn LLC, a Molex Company, you'll play a critical support role in the design, development, and maintenance of control systems that power our advanced manufacturing equipment. Your work will help ensure reliability, compliance, and performance across our automation platforms while collaborating closely with engineers and production teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with controls engineers to develop, troubleshoot, and refine automated equipment systems.
- Assist in specifying, sourcing, and maintaining electrical components and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Build and test control panels and support schematic revisions/redlines.
- Support equipment installation, operator training, and production ramp-up.
- Participate in the development of machine manuals and qualification documentation.
- Aid in debugging new equipment and maintaining legacy systems to reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA79).
