We are now looking for an Account Manager to join our commercial team and take ownership of key accounts across the DACH region. This is a remote role based in Germany.

About the Role

As Account Manager, you will manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers while identifying new opportunities to expand our presence in the market. This role requires building trusted relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations, enabling cross-selling, business expansion and long-term growth. Working closely with colleagues across functions, you will ensure customer needs are met while driving strategic initiatives and contributing to our wider commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined portfolio of accounts, setting and achieving agreed objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales and market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure accurate forecasting and reliable collaboration.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve service issues and continuously improve processes.
  • Contribute to effective collaboration across the business, fostering strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Use commercial tools and systems (Salesforce, NPPI, NOC) to manage accounts effectively.
  • Lead and support nominated projects, including market data analysis.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience in the packaging sector.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to make sound business decisions in complex situations.
  • Project management skills and the ability to influence across functions in a matrix environment.
  • Fluent in German and English; an additional language is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and confident with data management.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), MS Office, and related IT systems.
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent professional experience).
