Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking full-time or part-time interns for the summer/fall of 2026 in geotechnical lab and field-testing services. This is a fantastic opportunity for students pursuing a graduate degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering.

Under the supervision of experienced PE's and certified staff, the intern will assist in advanced lab testing and data logging of field explorations. Hands-on training will be provided. The intern will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

This opportunity is expected to last three months; however, is flexible on exact dates.

General knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel is preferred.

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.

Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering or geology program.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Hourly range: $20 - 35.
