Intern - Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division

The FaST engineering team is looking for an intern to support development and testing of advance electronic imaging fixtures. This work requires fundamental electronics knowledge and troubleshooting skills including the use of benchtop power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters. When not working on testing in the lab, the role requires hardware development in schematic capture software as well as firmware development targeted on an FPGA.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and testing of advance electronic imaging fixtures
  • Use benchtop power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters
  • Develop hardware in schematic capture software and firmware on an FPGA

Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience breadboarding and troubleshooting electronic circuits
  • Proficiency in reading electronic schematics, and comfortable writing firmware in one or more development environments
  • Proficient in an FPGA development language
  • Experience with a scripting language, such as Python, is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years towards a Bachelor’s Level Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline and 0 years related work experience
