KION ITS EMEA Iberia Workshop Technician

As a workshop technician for KION ITS EMEA Iberia, you will be able to execute maintenance of machines and mechanical hydraulic systems and aesthetic and/or functional components by performing tasks of adjustment, installation, review, and repair. You will perform systematic installations in accordance with customer specifications. In your philosophy, you must apply the current regulations to carry out the work in conditions of safety and quality, complying with environmental regulations.

Temporary position

Monday to Friday from 6:15h to 14:30h.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Mission: Conditioning of company equipment.

Main functions and responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of forklifts (repair, periodic reviews, modifications).
  • Conditioning machines for demonstration, STR, and Used.
  • Repairing customer machines, with direct delivery in the workshop.
  • Repairing outdoor machines.
  • Supervise customer orientation (needs, doubts, advice on use, etc.).
  • Comply with the rules and procedures in the field of integral safety established by the organization.
  • Perform within the established deadlines all the administrative tasks associated with your position.
  • Prepare reports on technical deficiencies detected that affect or may affect the safe operation of vehicles.
  • Use, maintain, and properly guard all tools, utensils, means, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided by the company.
  • Manage the supply of materials and spare parts correctly.
  • Communicate through the application, the openings and closures of incidents, as well as other incidents that may arise.
  • Propose improvements to processes and work methods.

Training, knowledge & Experience:

Higher Grade Training Cycle in Mechatronics, Electricity, EGB or similar or minimum 2 years of experience in the sector or similar (automotive).

Unregulated training/Languages/Specific knowledge:

  • Valuable knowledge of office software (Outlook, PPT, Word, Excel).
  • Training in PRL 20h metal (face-to-face mode). If you do not have it, we will train you internally.
  • Front and retractable forklift card in force.
