For the Kempen region, we are looking for driven, autonomous service technicians who derive satisfaction from solving complex issues.

Responsibilities:

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the preventive and curative maintenance of our advanced internal transport vehicles for our customers in your region.

• 50% of the time, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance
• 50% of the time, you will be called upon to solve issues with forklift trucks, stackers, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet trucks, tractors, and platform vehicles.
• Via a laptop, you will read out error codes and attempt to identify and resolve the cause of these error codes.
• Common electrical/electronic problems: issues with inverters, motors, wiring, modules, controllers, etc.
• Common mechanical problems: mainly wear and tear on bearings, wheels, etc.
• Hydraulic and thermal issues will also be addressed.

You will have the opportunity to work for some leading companies in your specific region. Due to your collaboration with a team of 65 technicians, the chances of being deployed far outside your own region are very slim.

Profile:

• A2 or bachelor diploma in a technical field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a maintenance technician, service technician, or service engineer.
• Hands-on and passionate about technology and innovation
• All-round technical expertise: mechanics, electricity/electronics, hydraulics.
• Thermal knowledge is a plus
