Tasks and Qualifications: The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to join our Storage Equipment Division as a Project Engineer. Don't miss your chance to work with and learn from our more experienced teams to gain invaluable project management knowledge and skills and support them through the project life cycle. Comprehensive training will be provided. We're looking for a motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

This role is located at our head office in Belrose (Sydney's Northern Beaches), though this position will have some flexibility to work from home once initial training has been completed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, estimating, and project management of storage equipment solutions
  • Provide technical support, drawings, and estimates for the Sales team
  • Interpret client scopes and internal drawings to develop project budgets using estimating software
  • Place equipment orders through internal systems and processes
  • Finalise layout drawings and issue work orders to manufacturing
  • Coordinate supply, delivery, and installation with customers, subcontractors, builders, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and conduct regular QA inspections
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure on-time delivery

What We Are Looking For Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Structural or Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Structural/Mechanical Drafting, or similar
  • Experience or knowledge about warehouse storage solutions is highly regarded, although not essential
  • Attention to detail and high organisational skills.
  • Experience in a project environment
  • Good communication skills
  • CAD experience and knowledge of 2D/3D drawings
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Excel and MS Project
  • Willingness to travel to our customer sites interstate and in New Zealand intermittently
