Tasks and Qualifications:
Mission:
Perform the assembly and maintenance of machinery, performing operations of: preventive maintenance, corrective (warnings and repairs), safety checks, start-up, and delivery of machines to customers, etc. Also provides technical and commercial advice to the customer in the technical assistances it performs.
Main functions and responsibilities:
- Perform technical service work
- Perform preventive maintenance applying the checklists established in KION for each machine model.
- Perform warnings of breakdowns and repairs, identifying deficiencies and notifying the customer, their direct repair or by means of the previous approval, of a budget.
- Supply spare parts. Identify the need for spare parts in the machine and manage their replacement.
- Perform safety tests on machines, in accordance with legal technical prescriptions.
- Assemble new machines, effect start-up and deliver the machine to the customer.
- Prepare repair budgets for machines and supply of spare parts, in accordance with the guidelines established in the organization.
- Commercial attention – Customers.
- Advise the customer on everything related to the machine and the service: technical issues, spare parts, recommended and necessary repairs, etc.
- Be a proactive person in identifying sales opportunities for: services, spare parts, new machines, and improvements in existing machines, informing the customer and notifying their Technical Advisor and/or Area Manager.
- Generation of technical assistance bulletins (TBM).
- Prepare the bulletins in accordance with the organization's guidelines as to: daily transmission, customer signature, coding of the type of assistance, identification of the spare parts used, etc.
- Management, custody, and care of the technical means and assigned material.
- Correct use and care of: workshop vehicle, notebook, telephone, tools, utilities, and inventory of spare parts and in general all assigned material.
Training, knowledge & Experience:
- Training in medium or higher professional training module (mechatronics or similar).
- Experience in the sector as a maintenance technician / repairs of forklifts (or similar sector), for at least 3 years.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
