Tasks And Qualifications:
Mission:
Perform the assembly and maintenance of machinery, performing operations of: preventive maintenance, corrective (warnings and repairs), safety inspections, start-up and delivery of machines to customers, etc. Also provides technical and commercial advice to the customer in the technical assistances it performs.
Main Functions And Responsibilities:
Execution of Technical Service Works:
- Perform preventive maintenance applying the check-lists established in KION for each machine model.
- Perform warnings of breakdowns and repairs, identifying deficiencies and notifying the customer, their direct repair or by means of the previous approval, of a budget.
- Supply spare parts. Identify the need for spare parts in the machine and manage their replacement.
- Perform safety tests on machines, in accordance with the legal technical prescriptions.
- Mount the new machines, carry out the start-up and deliver the machine to the customer.
- Draw up the budgets for the repair of machines and supply of spare parts, in accordance with the guidelines established in the organization.
Commercial Attention – Customers:
- Advise the customer on everything related to the machine and the service: technical issues, spare parts, recommended and necessary repairs, etc.
- Be a proactive person in the identification of sales opportunities for: services, spare parts, new machines, and improvements in existing machines, informing the customer and notifying their Technical Advisor and/or Area Manager.
Generation Of Technical Assistance Bulletins (TBM):
- Prepare the bulletins in accordance with the guidelines of the Organization in terms of: daily transmission, customer signature, coding of the type of assistance, identification of the spare parts used, etc.
Management, custody and care, of the technical means and material assigned:
- Correct use and care of: workshop vehicle, notebook, telephone, tools, utensils and inventory of spare parts and in general all the assigned material.
Training, knowledge and experience:
- Medium or higher level of professional training (mechatronics or similar), secondary education or similar or experience in the sector as a maintenance technician / repairs, for at least 1 year.
Non-regulated training / Languages/Specific knowledge:
- Valuable courses of product (new machines).
- Valuable courses of work procedure, preventive and corrective maintenance, of Machines.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Training in Labor Risk Prevention of metal (20h face-to-face). If not, we will train internally.
- Front and retractable forklift license in force. If not, we will train internally.
- Ability to participate in conversations (oral and/or written) with relative complexity within the professional work environment in English.
