Join KION Group IT in Kraków for a 12-month paid internship where you'll work hands-on with generative AI, shape smart automation, and co-create the future of logistics tech. You'll be part of a collaborative AI POD, get mentorship from experienced engineers, and contribute to projects used across a global organization.

We Offer

During your 12 months internship in KION Group IT we can guarantee you will:

  • Get a warm welcome from your assigned buddy and mentor
  • Be employed on the basis of contract of mandate with attractive salary and flexible working hours (min. 20 hours per week)
  • Work with KION's internal generative AI platform, related tools and technologies
  • Design, prototype, and implement AI-powered solutions and process enhancements
  • Collaborate within AI POD, product owners, developers, and experts to define use cases
  • Build, test, and deploy AI-based components
  • Analyze data and optimize model interactions for accuracy and reliability
  • Participate in building reusable components and documentation for the AI POD knowledge base
  • Receive continuous mentoring and structured feedback from experienced engineers

Tasks and Qualifications

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Students of Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related studies (4th or final year)
  • Good understanding of Python and basic software engineering practices (version control, APIs, testing)
  • Interest in applied AI, automation, and system integration
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Openness to feedback, curiosity, and proactive communication
  • Ability to balance creativity with discipline and adherence to engineering standards
  • Communicative English (spoken and written); German is a plus

Recruitment process:

  • Phone interview with the recruiter;
  • Face to Face Interview in our office (1,5h): technical panel, skills language, soft skills, competences
  • Psychometric online tests
  • Meeting with AI POD members
  • Feedback
