Requirements

We're looking for a Mobile QA Engineer who has:

• 3+ years of experience in Mobile QA Testing;
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android (physical devices and emulators);
• Proficiency in using Fiddler and Proxyman for traffic monitoring, debugging, and API modification;
• Experience using AIO Test plugin in Jira to create and manage test cases, test sets, and test cycles;
• Familiarity with Firebase (for Android builds) and TestFlight (for iOS builds);
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test cycles, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed test documentation (test cases, test plans, bug reports);
• Good command of Jira and timely task status updates, with clear comments and evidence attached;
• Understanding of SCRUM ceremonies (planning, demo, daily, retrospectives) and active participation in them;
• Familiarity with Figma and ability to easily navigate and locate design specifications;
• Knowledge of screen sharing tools used for live demonstrations: e.g., QuickTime Player (iOS), Homebrew (Android);
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have:

• General experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will:

• Review and analyze product requirements and specifications;
• Create, manage, and maintain test documentation using AIO Test plugin (test cases, end-to-end flows, test sets, cycles);
• Conduct various types of manual testing (functional, regression, integration) for new features on iOS and Android apps;
• Log and track defects in Jira, providing detailed descriptions and attaching supporting evidence (videos, screenshots);
• Prepare and execute pre-release and smoke test scenarios on Firebase and TestFlight builds;
• Collaborate with developers and designers, providing early feedback on designs and features;
• Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and team discussions to ensure quality is considered from the start.
