Brewing Specialist

The Brewing Specialist will lead technical and customer-driven initiatives to support innovation and renovation of Kerry's offerings in the alcoholic beverage sector, with a strong focus on beer brewing. This role is responsible for building strategic client relationships, driving adoption of Kerry technologies, and aligning with cross-functional teams to deliver excellence across LATAM.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead with technical insights and leverage customer/consumer feedback to drive innovation and renovation of Kerry's offerings.
  • Align with the RDA team to ensure cross-functional excellence and consistent ways of working.
  • Own and manage the overall relationship with assigned clients, including onboarding, implementation, and increasing adoption of Kerry technologies.
  • Establish a high level of customer intimacy and build trusted, strategic relationships to drive continued value.
  • Develop and maintain customer success strategies and share best practices across commercial teams.
  • Ensure alignment with Kerry's alcoholic beverage strategy in LATAM, with a specific focus on beer brewing.
  • Travel to client sites across LATAM at least 70% of the time to support implementation, relationship building, and technical collaboration.

Qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Brewing Science, Fermentation Science, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial brewing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of brewing equipment, ingredients, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and laboratory testing procedures.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required.

  • Strong communication, strategic planning, and project management skills.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker with the ability to quickly adjust priorities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification from recognized brewing institutions (e.g., Cicerone, IBD).
  • Experience with sustainable brewing practices.
  • Knowledge of local and international beer styles.
