This highly visible, strategic individual contributor role requires exceptional leadership, influence, and collaboration skills. While the position does not have direct reports, the Global Marketing Director will guide and coach regional marketing teams to ensure globally aligned yet locally relevant customer engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership & Global Account Planning

  • Act as the lead marketing business partner for global commercial leads and sales teams, leveraging a strong understanding of Kerry's technology portfolio.
  • Develop customer-centric marketing execution plans aligned with growth objectives for each global account, enhancing Kerry's value proposition and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape to identify white space and "Where to Play, How to Win" opportunities.
  • Shape Kerry's long-term strategic priorities by feeding insights from global foodservice chains into innovation funnels and regional planning processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, commercial, regional marketing, insights, sustainability) to create compelling, insights-driven marketing plans at global and regional levels.

2. Customer Engagement & Executive-Level Positioning

  • Define and execute a best-in-class global customer engagement model, ensuring consistent, high-value interactions across global foodservice accounts.
  • Develop customer communication plans for regional teams, including executive-level presentations, thought leadership content, digital and in-person engagements, and tailored commercial initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Kerry's executive leadership to position Kerry as a strategic thought partner and secure representation at the C-suite level within global accounts.
  • Drive large-scale customer engagement events such as global summits, innovation showcases, and strategic co-creation sessions to strengthen partnerships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure a consistent, compelling narrative across all customer-facing materials, reinforcing Kerry's sustainable nutrition positioning.

3. Regional Marketing Alignment & Execution

  • Serve as the bridge between global and regional marketing teams, ensuring strategic alignment while allowing for regional customization.
  • Guide and coach regional marketing teams on best practices for positioning Kerry within each account, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement across geographies.
  • Promote cross-regional collaboration by encouraging efficient "copy and paste" execution plans and sharing best practices.
  • Provide toolkits, frameworks, and guidance to regional teams for seamless execution of global strategies at the local level, including scalable marketing materials.
  • Manage and coach two direct reports:
    • Europe Global Accounts Marketing Lead – driving engagement with global foodservice chain accounts in Europe.
    • Sustainability & Nutrition Lead – advancing Kerry's sustainable nutrition value proposition across North America global accounts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • B2B marketing experience, preferably within the food, beverage, ingredients, or adjacent industries.
  • Strong understanding of global foodservice customers, their market dynamics, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Solid knowledge of the beverage industry; strong preference for candidates with flavor industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with commercial teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organization, collaborating and influencing across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Track record of executing large-scale customer engagement events and creating impactful customer experiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing execution plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Analytical mindset, leveraging insights and data to inform marketing plans, performance tracking, and customer engagement approaches.
  • Hands-on, results-driven marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Cultural agility and ability to work effectively across diverse global markets and customer segments.
