We are looking for an Engineering & Maintenance Specialist who will contribute actively to our engineering and maintenance projects, collaborating and supporting, from a mechanical, electronic and IT perspective, in the Engineering and Maintenance projects of the Operations Ginori 1735 world.

The resource will report to the Manufacturing Engineering & Costing Manager, joining the Operations team at the Sesto Fiorentino (FI) site.

How you will contribute:

• Assist in the operational coordination, from an engineering perspective, of industrial machinery and collaborative and traditional robots;
• You will be responsible for the planning and supervision of short and medium-term maintenance activities together with colleagues from the team, collaborating with the production departments to improve efficiency and reduce machine downtime;
• You will support in Project Management activities within the Operations world, ensuring compliance with time, costs and quality;
• You will offer gradual operational support in the activities related to the implementation of Engineering projects within the Manufacture, performing technical analyses and proposing innovative solutions for the optimization of processes.

Who you are:

• You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or related fields and have a solid knowledge of mechanical, electromechanical technology and technical drawing;
• You know the characteristics of machines, apparatus and mechanical tools and the related technical terminology;
• You have a good command of Office tools and know CAD software and technical drawing;
• You have a good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of project management;
• You have a strong problem-solving attitude and a continuous improvement mindset; you are proactive and capable of working in a team.
