Sales Assistant Position

Founded by the Spaniard Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the Balenciaga Maison has defined modern couture with its numerous innovations in form and technique. Today it continues to carry forward the Maison's vision through avant-garde collections that include women's and men's prêt-à-porter, accessories, and objets d'art. In 2021, Balenciaga's 50th Couture collection—the first since the founder retired in 1968—reintroduces a standard of innovative elegance. From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna has signed the women's and men's collections as Artistic Director. In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was named Creative Director of Balenciaga.

Your opportunity

In the role of Sales Assistant, you will be inserted into the Sales Team at Milano Rinascente.

You will be responsible for reception and sales assistance, support to other sellers, restocking, and reordering. You will manage local and international clientele, offering product and brand advice.

In your role, you will represent Balenciaga's behavior and actively engage with customers.

How you will contribute

  • Finalizing sales objectives in line with the company's strategy
  • Using effective sales techniques to maximize the boutique's business potential, and providing excellence in customer service and after-sales service
  • Contributing to building a positive work environment and a team based on sharing information and best practices
  • Maintaining behavior in accordance with Balenciaga's service standards, image, and values
  • Promoting the brand culture internally and externally and ensuring excellence in the customer experience
  • Collecting and updating customer information to ensure efficient use of CRM and Client Book and developing the customer portfolio
  • Supporting compliance with company norms and procedures

Who you are

  • Previous experience in assisted sales within fashion, luxury, and leather goods contexts
  • Excellent communication skills, relational abilities
  • Sensitivity to the product, good knowledge of market trends and fashion, orientation towards commercial results
  • Flexibility, openness, curiosity, listening skills, stress resistance
  • Predilection for assisted sales and team work
  • Mastery of digital skills
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English
