✨ About The Role
- Responsible for creating and using model-based approaches to scope technical solutions across spacecraft platforms and space products
- Lead and conduct engineering trades and technical budgets for a selection of subsystems
- Conduct constellation coverage and reliability analysis and flow the results into various hardware and software designs required for the system
- Troubleshoot system behavior anomalies, determine root cause analysis, and provide technical guidance to steer the team towards resolution
- Support prototyping, production, assembly, integration, and testing of systems and subsystems
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced systems engineer with at least 5 years in a relevant field such as electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering
- Strong understanding of aerospace systems and engineering fundamentals
- Ability to distill complex problems to fundamentals and solve them with analysis, creativity, or similarity
- Skilled in conducting engineering trades, technical budgets, and qualification testing of new designs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading technical projects
