This consortium, including CPDQ Infra, AtkinsRéalis, SYSTRA Canada, and Air Canada, was selected by the Canadian government to develop this project following a rigorous bidding process.

Your role

As a Data Urbanist and AI Support for OPM delivery, you are responsible for urbanizing the data and IT tools related to operations and maintenance activities, ensuring design compliance, and developing AI applications to improve deliverable quality while promoting innovative strategies.

Key accountabilities

• Identify the IT and data components of the OPM activities that would require DJV contribution during the design and building phase
• Contribute to urbanize data set and IT tools for O&M activities, and particularly for asset management and maintenance activities
• Conduct technology watch and benchmark best practices for AM data streams.
• Contribute to VIA Rail's digital capacity assessment
• Participate in design reviews to ensure design compliance with O&M requirements (particularly on data management).
• Develop gap analysis (between design and requirements) and assess constraints exported from Design to O&M.
• Contribute to the specification of the functional requirements of Operations Control Centre to integrate assets remote asset monitoring functionalities.

Innovation

• Contribute to promoting innovation initiatives related to operations and maintenance (Internet of Things, AI, predictive maintenance, etc.) – POC, Academic cooperations
• Contribute to innovation value assessment with design teams (from an O&M perspective) and score their proposed innovations where they are relevant.
• Ensure that both the systems design and the concept of operations are consistent with the selected innovations.
• Contribute to exploring innovative approaches to enhance customer experience

Design and implement AI-driven applications to improve project delivery

• Implement automated quality reviews of deliverables
• Conduct compliance checks of our deliverables with our Contract commitments
• Conduct compliance checks of the design with our operation and maintenance requirements
• Assure conformity with contractual interface commitments (e.g., specific inputs)
• Enhance knowledge management through AI tools and processes

Profile sought

• Master's degree in IT or Data Engineering
• Ability to drive specifications activities
• Experience of large greenfield rail (preferably high-speed rail) projects.
