Toyota's Environmental & Facilities Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Utilities Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage utilities for North American facilities. Reporting to the Manager of Facility Systems & Standards, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facilities department's objective to provide efficient and reliable infrastructure and utilities across all pillars in North America.

What you'll be doing:

• Investigate renewable energy opportunities for North American sites to meet sustainability goals
• Take ownership of contract initiatives for energy procurement
• Complete analysis of facility energy usage, reduction activities and energy costs
• Update management (Immediate & Executive) on regulatory changes, market changes and supply disruptions as needed
• Analyze and justify participation in utility rate cases
• Identify incentives and rebates available to Toyota locations
• Lead utility payment processing and work with business unit customers to resolve issues

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience in energy procurement, energy benchmarking
• Knowledge with electric and natural gas utility regulations throughout US
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work up to 10% overtime when required
• Ability to travel up to 10% when required

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with VT Scada
• Experience with renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements
• Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP)
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
