Technical Support Rep

dormakaba is seeking a Technical Support Rep based in Lexington, KY. The Technical Support Rep is responsible for providing technical support to end users, such as financial institutions, ATM operators, armored car companies, and integrators. They will support internal business partners in managing and operating software applications and lock hardware. The Technical Support Rep is responsible for initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed to provide a level of customer service necessary to support the achievement of defined corporate and department goals.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $55,000 - $65,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.)

What You Will Do

• Respond to standard customer inquiries and provide basic troubleshooting support for safe lock hardware and application software products
• Follow established procedures to install or configure software and hardware
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 2 or senior technical staff
• Operate a computer workstation to assist in preparing routine reports and documentation
• Perform assigned system maintenance to various electronic and physical files according to guidelines and/or under supervision

What We Require

• 2+ years' experience in customer service/technical support or help desk role
• High school education or equivalent

• Multilingual (Spanish, French, German)
• Associate's degree or vocational training desired
