Evaluates, mentors, and counsels/coaches patient services employees as applicable and according to departmental policy. Monitors employee's job performance. Works with staff to improve performance and behavior. Provides leadership and guidance. Assists staff in achieving personal and departmental goals. Ensures proper staffing is scheduled and/or available to perform daily activities in areas of responsibility. Coordinates and oversees that daily and weekly activities/tasks are performed by staff in areas of responsibility. Updates and communicates job-flow changes of positions in areas of responsibility as applicable. Ensures that standardized recipes are followed. Directs and assists in preparation of food. Performs quality control checks on a consistent basis. Insures the appropriate display of cafeteria foods. Ensures cashiers follow correct procedures.
