Minimum requirements: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Pre-employment physical exam required. Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by the University's insurance carrier.
Position description: The Supervisor, Custodial Services, oversees a team of approximately 10-15 custodians performing a full range of housekeeping tasks, including dusting, trash and recycling removal, and routine floor care. This position manages staff scheduling, orders custodial supplies and equipment, maintains required records, and conducts quality assurance inspections to ensure University buildings are maintained to established standards.
The supervisor must be knowledgeable in custodial procedures, equipment, and safety practices. Work schedules may vary from week to week. A valid driver's license and the ability to be insured through the University's insurance carrier are required. This position is designated as a critical employee role and requires physical presence on-site. The employee must report to or remain at work during university closures to assist with emergency response as needed.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
