Sr. Application Support Specialist

Analyze and support JD Edwards (JDE) E1-based solutions, specializing in and serving as lead in-house expert for JDE manufacturing module, including system functionality related to Manufacturing, Shop Floor, Cost Structure Changes, Demand Planning, MRP, Capacity Planning, Forecasting, Mfg Accounting, and Inventory. Develop test plans, coordinate and perform software testing, and facilitate integration of technology into business operations to improve operations or efficiency. Provide input and assistance in developing and implementing business initiatives to support company operations and business decision-making. Provide training and tech support to system end-users. Use JDE tools to perform data extracts and analysis of data, document procedures related to job duties, and work with users to implement new tools and business processes. Act as key team member in implementing third-party solutions that interface with JDE for business processes. Create new program versions to support launch of new business units, and work with users to conduct user acceptance testing on all modifications. Support SOX compliance reporting requirements and work with internal and external auditors to fill reporting requests. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Comp Info Sys, Comp Science, or Elec Eng, and 8 years relevant professional experience as JD Edwards Consultant, Delivery Project Lead, Application Support Specialist, Application Consultant, or JD Edwards Mfg/Distr Specialist; 8 years experience supporting users in a JD Edwards-based manufacturing environment; 6 years experience on a JD Edwards implementation team with primary responsibility for the Manufacturing module in E1; and 1 year experience using JDE Orchestrator.
