The PA-Adult Acute provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care. The PA-Adult Acute works independently, as well as collaboratively, to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate patient care. The PA-Adult Acute functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate. Required: Collaborative/Supervisory Agreement as required and in alignment with state and board regulatory statutes; Valid DEA number and KASPER registration if prescribing controlled substances; Maintains appropriate scope of practice within population.
Required:
- Master degree Physician Assistant; (will consider grandfathered PAs with Bachelor degree)
- Physician Assistant (State) AND Physician Assistant Certification (National)
Desired:
- One year of clinical experience.
